Me, A Photographer?

Had you told me in 2005 that I would be making a career out of photography I would have laughed. I had no desire to ever become a photographer fresh out of college. It was not until I wanted to capture my children's childhood through beautiful images was I inspired to pick up a camera and learn how to use it. Fast forward seventeen years. Here I am, capturing images for not only my family but so many others. From newborns to seniors, family portraits to weddings, I've dabbled in a little bit of everything. I strive to keep my images vibrant and pure- images that are timeless heirlooms to be enjoyed for generations.

Hi, I am Michelle Perrin-Crawford.

I am an award winning photographer from the United States. What started as a simple hobby has turned into my profession. I am a 2005 graduate of Frostburg State University with a BFA in Art and Design and Art History minor. Though my main focus was painting and printmaking, I decided to dive into photography after I became a mother. I wanted to capture all the little details of childhood because it is such a fleeting moment in time.

I am now a mother of five kids (three girls, two boys) and I have managed a successful photography business since 2013. Capturing families is my absolute favorite. I enjoy Fine Art child photography and composite work as well. My work has been seen in Beyond the Wanderlust magazine, Green Child Magazine, Allegany Magazine, and the Allegany National Photographic Competition and Exhibition. My Disney images have been seen worldwide and have been used on various websites and blogs including the DIS.

I am an avid lover of Disney (we frequent the parks annually), I am an artist, teacher, crafter, I dabble in sewing, baking, basically whatever the mood strikes me. I am also a two- time marathoner and run multiple races every year. I look forward to meeting new clients and reuniting with past clients. As cliché is it is when you love what you do it doesn't feel like work.
